I'm Stina Brock, third-generation Jackson mother, energy industry leader, and candidate for the Lower Valley Energy Board of Directors in District 7.

I work as the CEO of a Wyoming company at the intersection of utilities, technology, and our evolving power grid. I earned a Master's degree in electrical power engineering from the University of Washington and an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth. I've spent my career wrestling with the urgent questions LVE faces now: how the grid is changing, shifting energy costs and inflation pressures, and defending reliability in these uncertain times.

I'm raising my kids here and committed to the long haul of this community. Our family supports Poppy, a community-first workspace in Jackson, and Silicon Couloir, which fosters entrepreneurship across the region. The energy decisions LVE makes today will shape what our family's Wyoming looks like tomorrow.

LVE's board needs members who understand the industry from the inside. As the CEO of a Wyoming company at the intersection of power and technology, and as a trained power engineer, I've built relationships across the utility sector, technology providers, and policy circles that shape how co-ops operate. That networking and experience help prepare me to ask better questions, bring better oversight, and achieve better policymaking as your voice on the LVE board.
Affordability isn't something we can wish into reality - it's the careful harvest of the dozens of technical and financial decisions a board makes every year. Wholesale power contracts. Capital planning. Rate design. Federal program participation. I'll bring my engineering and business backgrounds to the tough task of balancing our risks and opportunities and pushing for choices that keep LVE rates affordable for our families.
